Office of Research and Publications [ORP]


ORP envisions to explore research-based educational practices through conducting research activities on potential industrial issues, organizing seminars and talks on contemporary issues, arranging for publications of international journals, i.e., AJBE and AJSE, as well as of other professional materials including the official magazine, newsletters and occasional souvenirs. ORP aims to foster the culture of research and writing among the AIUB students and faculty members, and promote AIUB's linkage with international intellectual communities. The continuation of the existing Journals and the official magazine contribute to gradually develope the culture of publication of the University. In future, the area of publication will be broadened in different categories like research based text, working papers, sports, cultural activities, literature, occasional papers, and others.


Collaboration of AIUB Bus Econ WP Series and RePEC

The Office of Research and Publications (ORP) is very glad to announce the collaboration of AIUB Bus Econ Working paper Series and RePEC (Research Papers in Economics). RePEC is a collaborative effort of a huge number of research institutions all over the world to enhance the dissemination of research in economics. All RePEc material is freely available. RePEc now collaborates with the American Economic Association's EconLit database to provide content from leading universities' working paper series to EconLit. AIUB is the first university (public and private) in Bangladesh to collaborate the working paper series with RePEC. Initially all research articles submitted for the upcoming issues of AIUB Journal of Business and Economics (AJBE) can be considered for publication in the working paper series. Authors are encouraged to submit first for the working paper series which goes through a basic review process. Once approved by the editor of the working paper series, it can be published online as an AIUB Bus Econ Working Paper and a RePec entry. The ORP will also appreciate the manuscript submission for working paper series only.
